Waridi la Faraja Organization (WAFO) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Mwanza, Tanzania. It is registered in Tanzania under the Non – Governmental Organizations Act, 2002 with registration number 00NGO/R/6124. The Organization was founded in 2023 by 9 Tanzanians who felt the society lacks crucial education in various fields. Hence, leading to unawareness of basic things and consequently affecting their development and livelihood.
Waridi la Faraja are Kiswahili words, which means ‘a comforting Rose flower’. Its literal meaning is Waridi la Faraja Organization comforts people by giving them new good hopes through providing them with education in diverse fields that aims at changing their future. The Organization has been mobilising the entire society in fighting against poor public health, environment management and conservation, guiding and counselling to primary school pupils and secondary school students on educational matters, as well as campaigning against violation of human rights by giving the public better education to improve the situation.

Our Mission
We promote good education on healthy diet and parental health, advocate environment management and conservation, sensitize awareness on human rights, and guiding and counselling to primary school pupils and secondary school students on education matters.
Our Objective
To groom a society which is healthy and complying with human rights, one that manages and conserves environment, and also to enable pupils and students realize their academic dreams.

Giving the society workshops, trainings and consultancies so as to reduce malnutrition and maternal mortality.
Conducting environment management and conservation activities, such as cleaning firthy areas and planting trees, also giving workshops, seminars and consultancies on environment management and conservation.
Guiding and counselling pupils and students on academic issues.
Providing free legal aid services (such as information, education, legal advice, assistance and representation).
